GRIT Hub Launches Student Chapter at Nelson Mandela University George to Ignite Technopreneurship and Innovation

The Garden Route Innovation and Technology Hub (GRIT Hub) is proud to announce the official launch of its Student Chapter at Nelson Mandela University, George—a bold new platform designed to cultivate innovation, technopreneurship, and real-world problem-solving among students.
This chapter will serve as a hub of activity for student entrepreneurs, offering a wide range of programs and events that empower learners to take their ideas from concept to impact. From AI training open to all students to hands-on technopreneurship workshops, financial literacy sessions, networking opportunities, and access to industry mentors, the Student Chapter is built to equip the next generation of leaders with the tools, mindset, and support they need to thrive.

Kickoff Event – April 15, 2025
The Student Chapter will officially launch during GRIT Hub’s Prize Giving Event on April 15, 2025, hosted on campus at Nelson Mandela University, George. The event will celebrate outstanding achievements across GRIT Hub’s programs and formally welcome the first cohort of student technopreneurs into the Chapter.
